Why is officially dead? I love PowerPoint, but Authorware is a great replacement and PowerPoint may have to switched it.

When creating a new file, i cannot go to File menu and then select New menu in following the two files, you may see an error message: 'The new file cannot be created because the following error has occurred: computer memory is full." appears. Authorware is discontinued, and there is no future updates or troubleshooting help anymore. Therefore, Adobe recommends Director 11, which is a replacement for Authorware 7.

When try to import mp3 file and you may see a computer memory is full, and trying to import mp3 file again and the application stops working on windows. How can troubleshoot a memory when Authorware 6.5 running on Windows or you can solve this problem?
